Peacock Tail Stained Glass Mosaic Panel

Description

This original stained glass mosaic panel features a colourful stylized peacock bird. The artwork has been created using hand-cut stained glass adhered to a solid glass base. The mosaic has been finished with light beige grout and is permanently mounted in a repurposed solid wood frame (15 3/8" x 12 3/8" - measured to frame outer edge). A hanging kit is included. Glass-on-glass (GOG) mosaics blend the transparency of modern stained glass with the intricacy of mosaics. The result is a detailed piece of artwork that "glows" when light is transmitted through it. The glass artworks look beautiful when backlit by natural light and intended for indoor display. All frames used for these artworks are reclaimed and vintage.
