Summer Mountain Landscape with Wildflowers Stained Glass Mosaic Panel

Description

This colorful stained glass mosaic panel features a mountain landscape with a field of summer wildflowers including black-eyed Susans. The mosaic was created using hand-cut stained glass adhered to a base of clear glass that has been permanently mounted into a solid wood frame (13 1/2" x 16 1/2" measured to the edge of the frame). The mosaic has been grouted with light beige-colored grout and includes a hanging kit. Glass-on-glass (GOG) mosaics blend the transparency of modern stained glass with the intricacy of mosaics. The result is a detailed piece of artwork that "glows" when light is transmitted through it. The glass artworks look beautiful when they are backlit by natural light, intended for indoor display. All frames used for these artworks are reclaimed and vintage. Signs of character on the frame such as scratches or dings may be present.
