Winter Birch Trees Landscape Stained Glass Mosaic Panel

Description

This gorgeous stained-glass mosaic features a snowy winter landscape with birch trees, with a rising yellow sun. It has been created using hand-cut transparent and translucent stained glass adhered to a clear sheet of glass and permanently mounted into a lovely repurposed solid wood frame (14 3/4 " x 12 1/4" measured to frame outer edge). The mosaic has been grouted with an alabaster-colored grout, finished with handpainted details, and includes a hanging kit. Glass-on-glass (GOG) mosaics blend the transparency of modern stained glass with the intricacy of mosaics. The result is a detailed piece of artwork that "glows" when light is transmitted through it. The glass artworks look beautiful when they are backlit by natural light, intended for indoor display. All frames used for these artworks are reclaimed and vintage.
