Sunflower Mosaic Stained Glass Panel

Description

This gorgeous stained glass panel features multiple detailed sunflowers. The artwork blends stained glass, hand painting, and mosaic techniques into a modern hybrid art form. The artwork has been created using hand-cut stained glass adhered to a solid glass base, and is permanently mounted in a vintage solid wood frame (15 1/4" x 11 1/4" measured to frame outer edge) and finished with a charcoal-colored grout. The mosaic panel comes with a hanging kit. Glass on glass (GOG) mosaics blend the transparency of modern stained glass with the intricacy of mosaics. The result is a detailed piece of artwork that "glows" when light is transmitted through it. The glass artworks look beautiful when they are backlit by natural light. Alternatively, they can also be displayed with artificial backlighting. Intended for indoor display. All windows and most frames used for these artworks are vintage.
