Pair of Cardinals in Fall Stained Glass Mosaic Panel

Description

This handmade stained glass mosaic panel features a male and a female cardinal with a Fall tree with a blue sky. It has been created using various shades of transparent and translucent hand-cut stained glass adhered to a pane of clear glass. Hand-painted details of the birds add depth to the image. The mosaic has been permanently mounted in a beautiful repurposed solid wood frame ( 13 1/2" x 11 1/2" measured to the outer edge of the frame) and finished with dark grey grout. The panel includes a hanging kit. A glass on glass (GOG) mosaic blends the transparency of modern stained glass with the intricacy of mosaics. The result is a detailed piece of artwork that "glows" when light is transmitted thru it. The glass artworks look beautiful when they are backlit by natural light. Intended for indoor display.
