Rainbow Geometric Mandala Stained Glass Mosaic Panel

Description

This gorgeous handmade colorful stained glass mosaic panel features various colors of transparent and translucent glass, and glass nuggets arranged in a geometric rainbow mandala pattern. It has been created using hand-cut stained glass adhered to a sheet of clear glass. The mosaic has been finished with a dark grey colored grout. The mosaic has been mounted in a repurposed wood frame (14" x 14" - measured to frame outer edge) and includes hanging hardware. Glass on glass (GOG) mosaics blend the transparency of modern stained glass with the intricacy of mosaics. The result is a detailed piece of artwork that "glows" when light is transmitted through it. The glass artworks look beautiful when they are backlit by natural light. Alternatively, they can also be displayed with artificial backlighting. Intended for indoor display. All windows and most frames used for these artworks are vintage. Small signs of age and character such as dings or scratches may be present.
