Red Rose Stained Glass Mosaic Panel

This gorgeous red rose flower garden stained glass mosaic panel in a long frame is perfect for hanging in a transom window. The image has been created using hand-cut stained glass with hand-painted detail adhered to a solid glass base. The mosaic is permanently mounted in a vintage solid wood frame (7 1/4" x 19 1/4"- measured to the outer edge of frame) and finished with charcoal-colored grout. The mosaic panel comes with a hanging kit. Glass on glass (GOG) mosaics blends the transparency of modern stained glass with the intricacy of mosaics. The result is a detailed piece of artwork that "glows" when light is transmitted through it. The glass artworks look beautiful when they are backlit by natural light. Alternatively, they can also be displayed with artificial backlighting. Intended for indoor display. All windows and most frames used for these artworks are vintage.
